Abstract

Hamza bin Abd al-Muttalib al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, one of the companions of the Messenger of God Muhammad (peace be upon him), and his uncle and brother in breastfeeding, and he is two years older than the Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), and he is close to the Messenger on his mother’s side as well. He did not embrace Islam as he hesitated to embrace it until after the Abu Jahl incident The one who was exposed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and was abused by him, when he announced his conversion to Islam in the second year of the mission of the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH), and he witnessed the Badr and he suffered a great calamity in it. The Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) called him “The Lion of God and the Lion of His Messenger.” In the third year of the Hijrah, in the Battle of Uhud, he was buried at Uhud in his place.
