In this study, 20 samples were collected from various clinical sources from Tikrit Teaching Hospital, Ghazi Hariri Specialized Surgery Hospital, and Burn Hospital in the City of Medicine. To confirm that the isolation belongs to Pseudomonas aeruginosa, several tests were performed such as coloring techniques, biochemical tests, and the Vitek 2 system. The results of the biochemical tests matched the traits of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the diagnosis was confirmed with the Vitek system. Peroxidase is a type of oxidation-reduction reaction enzyme, useful for accelerating many oxidation reactions that protect cells from the harmful effects of free radicals. It is found in many common sources such as plants, animals and microbes, and it has wide uses in many fields, such as industry and medicine. Lipase enzymes are enzymes belonging to the category of hydrolases. They stimulate the hydrolysis process of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids. Lipase enzymes are found in various sources. The qualitative detection of each enzyme for isolates on the basis of its susceptibility to the production of enzymes on the production media of each enzyme. The results showed the emergence of decomposition zones around the colonies ranging from 28mm and 5 mm, respectively, for each enzyme, which indicated the productivity of the enzyme. The results were confirmed by molecular detection through the polymerase chain reaction, where the results showed the presence of the peroxidase gene and lybase in all tested isolates by 100%. He tested the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics. The results showed that the highest resistance was to the antibiotic Tetracyclin at 95.10% and the lowest resistance was to the antibiotic Amikacin, where resistance reached 30.18%. As for the rest of the antibiotics, resistance was in varying proportions according to each antibiotic.
