Abstract

The residential sector is one of the most important and large uses of the different land, as it constitutes about (50_60%) of the different uses of land, and has received the attention of many researchers and planners, as they were interested in laying the foundations and different standards that work to create a housing environment in which all the elements of healthy and comfortable life correspond. Infrastructure services are one of the most important things that must be available. The current housing suffers from a deficit and the deficit will double if new housing units are established in addition to restoring the old ones and finding alternatives to make modern housing complexes for homeowners and at an appropriate allowance, as the large increase in population numbers for 2033 witnessed with it a decrease in the number of housing and a housing deficit reached (758564) housing units and 27.6%)%) for 2023 for Dhi Qar governorate, so it is necessary to take into account that this percentage will increase with each year if this problem is not planned and gradually reduced until it is eliminated for a period of time. Brief.

Hence, we emphasize the importance of studying the role of the private public sector in providing infrastructure services to the housing sector and focusing on the effective role it plays in providing a convenient and comfortable housing environment, by analyzing its characteristics, and its role in finding services that meet the growing life requirements Keywords: Infrastructure Services, Public and Private Sector Housing Secto
