Abstract

Our research aims to shed light on two important sciences that were among the most prevalent in previous eras and civilizations continued to pay attention to, namely the sciences of medicine and history, and how Muslim scholars were able to combine these two sciences. Some scholars who practiced medicine, which is one of the applied sciences or what is called the rational sciences, also practiced writing history, which is one of the transmitted or humanistic sciences. This demonstrates the importance of these two sciences in human life in terms of building civilization and preserving it.
