This study aimed to diagnose the impact of digital transformation in human resource management (e-HRM) in enhancing the quality of performance of employees in the Human Resources Division, and thus supporting the sustainable competitive advantage of the Faculty of Pharmacy Al-Mustansiriya University after obtaining international program accreditation.
The problem of the study stemmed from the existence of a gap between the requirements of international program accreditation and quality assurance standards on the one hand, and the actual reality of the digitization of human resources management practices on the other hand, which threatens the sustainability of this institutional achievement.
The study adopted the descriptive-analytical method, and applied the questionnaire tool to a comprehensive community of employees in the Human Resources Division, the Quality Assurance Division, the Deanship, and branch officials at the College of Pharmacy. The research model included six dimensions of the independent variable (e-human resources management), six dimensions of the intermediate variable (quality of performance), six dimensions of the dependent variable (sustainable competitive advantage), and one modified variable (requirements for international program accreditation).
The five-point Likert questionnaire was applied to a comprehensive population of two years, where the valid questionnaires reached (41) questionnaires with a response rate of (82%).
The results revealed that there is a structural digital gap in e-recruitment and self-service functions between transformation and showed a strong inverse correlation paradox versus maturity in digital systems and competitive advantage, indicating that the college is building its advantage on audio capital rather than digital, which is a successful but unsustainable institutional compensation model, and the study ended with recommendations that help the college in transforming into an integrated digital academic model at the level of the Middle East.
